To Make or Buy: The Ultimate Decision in a Software Development Project
Bryant University's Academic Center of Excellence is looking for a new appointment and record keeping system. This project goes through the planning and analysis stages of the system development lifecycle in order to make the decision of make or buy. The final project compares the options of two packaged systems and a customized system to be developed internally or externally. The analysis includes a breakdown of cost, elapsed verses actual time, and features in attempt to quantify the final decision, to make or buy. And possible even, to buy which packaged system. Come to the presentation to see my recommendation to Bryant University and the Academic Center for Excellence for which option to design and implement into the center and whether or not they have to make it or buy it.
